MOAH Kicks Off the 2016 Exhibition Season with Green Revolution
Lancaster, CA. February 4, 2016 – On February 13, Lancaster’s Museum of Art and History (MOAH) will kick off its 2016 exhibition season with Green Revolution.
Sponsored by Lancaster Energy and sPower, Green Revolution focuses on artists’ representations of sustainable living through renewable energy and urban gardening, as well as the concepts of reusing and recycling materials. From watercolor to sculpture, artists including Jeremy Kidd, Lynn Aldrich, and Coleen Sterritt cover concepts of reducing energy needs through the use of renewable energy in order to create an efficient and sustainable community.
By exploring the timely conversation of reducing our carbon footprint, the Green Revolution exhibit dovetails perfectly with Lancaster Energy’s mission to offer consumers cleaner and less expensive power options and the City of Lancaster’s overarching NetZero plans.
On display through April 17, 2016, Green Revolution will also feature an ‘opening reception’ on Saturday, February 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. which the public is invited to attend.
